The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) has introduced a mandatory update for Indian seafarers: the PSSR Amendment 2026 course (Course ID 957). This new e-learning module is essential for staying compliant with the latest STCW standards.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through why this update is necessary, who needs it, and how to complete your PSSR e-learning to get your certificate.

What is the PSSR Amendment 2026?

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has updated the STCW framework to include mandatory training on preventing and responding to violence, harassment, bullying, and sexual assault onboard.
