33 CFR 83.24(i) (Inland Rule 24) requires a special flashing light for a power-driven vessel pushing ahead or towing alongside. This light must be yellow, exhibit between 50 and 70 flashes per minute, and be placed as far forward as practicable on the vessel being pushed.
