The height of the longitudinal metacenter above the keel depends strictly on draft and waterplane inertia. Dumping all liquid mud changes the vessel's draft, and referencing the DEEP DRILLER hydrostatic particulars for the resulting lighter draft gives a new KML of 61.19 feet.
