33 CFR 83.34(d) (Inland Rule 34) states that if a vessel is in doubt as to whether the other vessel is taking sufficient action to avoid collision, she shall immediately indicate such doubt by sounding at least five short and rapid blasts. You must not proceed until agreement is reached.
